Hello. I’m Lorem Laurel and I’m making plans to start running and hosting a sort of activity centre for the kids here in the town.

It'll be located in the house where my friend, Alex, and I reside. The rooms will be soundproofed and furnished so there’ll be a guaranteed safe place for the kids to be kids. Play games. Talk to each other. Things like that. I would love to get feedback on what you think would be needed for this since, admittedly, this is my first time attempting to run a project of this scale.

And if there’s anyone willing to lend a hand with this project - be it volunteering to help when it’s running or donating supplies of some sort - I would be grateful for it. I promise to compensate you in return to the best of my abilities if you'd wish for such a thing. Please don't hesitate to contact me or ask questions about this.

That would be AMAZING, oh my gosh! The natives brought me a couple of blankets and pillows, but the more the merrier! I had a TON at home, haha. It would be so cozy!

They really did that for you? That's great to hear! That's so sweet of them to do.

Honestly? I think out of all the things I miss at home, it's the pillows and blankets I used to nest on. It's been forever since I've done that. [ she's had to sleep 'normally' for the last eight years due to either limited supplies of blankets and pillows. no one on the lornful light needed them so. ]

They soundproofed my home and everything. They really have been amazingly kind people. (Also: they gave me popcorn. Come over and have some if you want!!)

Back home I was addicted to comfort things: sweaters, blankets, pillows or all sizes. It's great to see even a little of that here now.

How sweet of them. I'm glad they're trying to make us comfortable here, one way or another. I'm never going to take for granted a nice set of pillows and beddings ever again after this. I miss my nest of pillows and blankets back on the ship. It's strange trying to sleep normally, you know?

(And I promise to take you up on that invitation to popcorn. It's been years since I've had that!)

Absolutely! There's definitely been a lot to adjust to here, and it's not just the quiet.

If you're open to the idea of flower popcorn, I can make some specialities from my home for you and your friends if you have an event there. I think I saw some flowers here that I have back home.
