- no, they haven't told us the whole truth, but personally i'm more inclined to dig for it than to move away from here yet. different strokes
- if you mean the sound eaters they look like humans gone through a bunch of different stages of wrong and broken. some of them don't have mouths or eyes. there's different kinds, or they've got different growth stages, or something
- a friend and i are from 2018 and the stuff here, buildings and the abandoned stuff in them, looks about what we're used to, but broken down

it's not really pretty out there. hard going in general, but as far as i could tell the sound eaters and trying to move around while not attracting them are the main problems. if you're going to explore you'd better hope for crappy weather like rain or hail actually, it makes it more of a pain in general but they won't come for you then.

the eiffel's got a whole nest of them so idk if that makes it more or less appealing to you

Maybe it is. [That doesn't seem like a bad idea now that he thinks about it. Can Sound Eaters travel over or through water? They're humanoids so even if they could cross a river, surely they couldn't cross oceans... The other option is the air but that seems even more impossible.] The Sound Eaters don't like rain. So if you're thinking of heading to water you might be on to something.
