I suppose the best way to describe it is quiet and brown. Very brown. We didn't have a lot of vegetation or plants in many locations. A lot of our Earth is inhospitable.

Have you seen Verdrel Square yet? It possibly has the most green I've ever seen since I left Earth. I had no idea that much could exist in one place.

There were trees. Just not a lot of them. At least in the U.S.

Dust Tumbles was situated in what used to be the Farmland Counties before they dried up. I was told there used to be lots and lots of them but when I last saw it, it definitely fits more of your description of flat and brown.

Of course I do. It's my home. It wasn't perfect - for a lot of reasons - but I was raised there and it was good place, filled with good people.

Do you miss home? If that's alright to ask?

do you have family there?

parts of it. i miss my mom and my brother. i miss music.

Yes. My mom lives there and so did my dad. My auntie and grandpere live in France. I miss them all too and I can only hope they're doing fine these days.

And I'm sure you can play music soon. I'm planning to make an activity house/center where people can play music or sing or play much as they want without worrying about the noise.

i...don't think time passes back home. i mean, mike and me and max all came from different times, but we don't remember anyone going missing randomly. maybe they don't even know anything's wrong.

much as she what's to ask more questions about where he's from, it's doesn't feel right to lore to ignore his so her curiosity can wait. ]

We can soundproof rooms if you're willing to put the effort and time into it. A friend of mine, Alex, has a house he calls his own and he's graciously offered me the other rooms for use.

I'm planning to have some of those unused rooms soundproofed and then set up so kids and people can chat and play. Just enjoy themselves without having to constantly worry about the amount of noise or sound they can't make. It'll kind of be like a daycare/center where the younger kids can be dropped off so they can play while older ones can simply relax.

that's really nice of you. especially for little kids, who have a harder time being quiet. [He says like...he's not a kid...]

It seems only right to give back to the community after what they've been trying to do for us so far. Shows we're in this together and all that.

You're welcome to visit it whenever you want after its open to the public. Heck, you can visit it while the changes are being made if you want! It never hurts to get feedback during the process so there's still time to make adjustments and tweaks, you know?

Maybe one of these days we'll run into a friend of mine - Leeds Ascii. He's a sweetheart and I like to think you two will get along great.

What songs? I have a feeling they might not be ones I know, given the difference in time and worlds, but I'm always on the lookout for new things to sing or hum too whenever the chance comes up.

He's a really sweet guy. Very friendly and supportive. You almost never saw him without his camera or recorder since he wanted to be a filmmaker, lofty as those goals were.

I hope this doesn't make me sound uncool but I never heard those artists before. But if you say they're good singers, I'll try to see if I can find cassettes or tapes of their music for you. If they're also on this Earth too.

really? my big brother likes to take pictures. he's got all these cameras in his room that he's taken apart and put back together.

no, no, not uncool. you probably have other cool singers where you're from.

I can only hope they're as cool as yours. Their names are fantastic!

And It sounds Leeds would have also gotten along with your brother too. He loved tinkering around with his cameras to see if he can make them work better. Is your brother with you?

david bowie is the best. he's super weird and strange and different, but he's not scared of being different.
