[Will's been here for a hot second, and he's paid careful attention to...things that are going on. And he's more than ready to hit y'all with a whammy of a moral conundrum. Forgive his slow typing; he's from the 80's and texting isn't really a thing.]

if you do something bad -- like really bad, like unforgivable -- in your life before here

are you allowed to not tell anyone about it? or try to be better here? are you allowed to start over entirely?

is that bad too?

Then it's just like I said before. You sound like you know you made a mistake, so learn from it and don't do it again. There's nothing wrong with that. It's part of growing up, and growing up isn't something that just stops when you become an adult.

Think of this as a head start, then. It's better to make your biggest mistakes when you're younger anyway. You have more room to grow, that way.

Those happen, too, sometimes. Some of them, you might not even think of as mistakes when they happen. But those aren't for anyone to judge or hold against you if you're willing to put the time in to make it right.

[sorry will. i hope you weren't starting to think of kiryu as a role model or anything. he might be projecting here a wee bit.]

It is. But just wanting it isn't enough. Now it's up to you to make it happen.
