[Seeing everything and everyone in shades of gray isn't Max's idea of a good time. At all.]
So given the amount of chaos at Town Hall a few hours ago, I'm going to assume I'm not the only one whose vision's been affected by the red dust.
Has anyone's normal vision come back yet?
[She's trying not to panic anymore than she already has been. And she's already making the connection to the fact that Sound Eaters are blind, the red dust comes from the Sound Eaters, and wondering if this is how they start the process of making more Sound Eaters.]

He's so. Worried and frustrated. None of you deserve this...
In all honesty, he's freaking out over the thought of: what if they all go blind from this... ]
Is it just missing color for you?
no subject
Yeah, just color. Is that all it is for you?

but
some of us DO see someone in color so i think it'll be okay. i don't think it's gonna be permanent. otherwise we'd see only black and white right?
(You'd think of all people Eddie would be freaking out more, but truthfully it had been like The Wizard of Oz or something when the dull listless all fell to grey and something wonderful and otherwordly became nothing but color.
So in other words, him being a twelve year old with some sort of imagination has him wondering if this isn't something else besides something horrific and health-relevant.)

[This is starting to feel a little less Sound Eater-y and more like something else. She's just not sure what.
Max has a good imagination, but it's mostly stuck on horror mode these days.]

Seems there's a whole lot of different things the red dust can do. Though the way we got that text beforehand makes me wonder if someone tampered with it.

You mean like someone who was supposedly dead and maybe isn't really?

Not yet. It's just grey and more grey excepting the one thing I can see.
