[Erik cares little for the voting process or who was chosen to lead. What he does care about is how that decision will effect him. The environment. The natives, people who he feels an odd and detached sort of likeness to. He understands all too well what it’s like to be crowded into a small space and forced to live in fear for being ‘different’.]
Congratulations to our new leader.
I’m sure he’ll treat everyone fairly and equally.
I understand the need to feel separate from this world but there can’t be an us and them, the natives. It’s us and them, the monsters who feed on sound.
Many of us have abilities. Powers that are useful. There are natives that do as well. If we band together, we can keep ourselves safe. All of us.
[He wants to make his motives clear. He wants to survive. To get back home where he has unfinished business.]
I’m compiling all the information gathered here and there will be three different sections. Public, private, and what you can help with rather than abilities.

Telekinesis
I can move smaller objects more easily than larger ones - always trying to improve
Right now, telekinetically lifting probably anything above 27.kg is an issue, medically, but I can and will push that limit.
Telepathy
I have a wide range from hearing thoughts to sensing emotion. Strong emotion, for me, is difficult to block. It could be useful in finding lost or hurt people, maybe locating anyone else out there. I can, within reason, calm people but I don't use it much because, well, people object to someone anywhere near their head. It's there, if needed.
Retrocognition/Postcognition
Sometimes - not all of the time and with enough accuracy that I make a good tracker if regular method fail. I'm able to glean information from objects or people if I touch them with my bare hands. Only works with hands, though. I usually wear gloves to be safe.
Hyperlinguist
Debated on putting this under telepathy. Learning languages is the sorta thing I do to a very quick degree. I guess I mentally 'hook in' to someone's language centre and with a few exposures can learn whole languages. I'm not sure how that works for signing, though.
Magic
I've learned enough from my own investigations to prepare fairly complicated spells based on the desired intent. I'd rather do beneficial magic, if it's all the same. My primary focus is angelic or Enochian magic or transformative magic and illusion magic. The latter two basicallly use raw material (transformative) and light (illusion) to change material into a finished form. I normally use it for magic crap I'm working on. I'm always messing around with magic and machines - one of my other passions. I'm an inventor, of sorts. I was working on a magic based interface for my car, kinda like a magic/tech fusion for creepy disturbances.
I hunt the bad shit that wreck everyone's day.
Mechanical EngineerAncient Languages Ph.D.
Language is pretty much a puzzle for me, especially the ones that aren't verbal - dead languages, especially.
Forensic Psychology Ph.D.
Crime scenes, criminal psyche, etc etc. I've consulted on cases from federal to international, pretty good track record. Better if they let me touch evidence. While my speciality lies in the abnormal, it's more focused on the victims, the families left behind in the wake of crime. How they cope in the wake of tragedy, disaster, terror - from many different aspects of tragedy. If anyone wants to talk, I'm around. Not that being here isn't traumatic or screwed up as hell for me but, yeah, I'm here.
Summary: If I'm interested in learning something I don't do it by halves and if I say I want to learn, you're probably never getting rid of me. I'm here to help and probably here to stay.
