Now that the polls have closed, Carpet is excited to announce the winner, even if he's still a little shaky on the concept of democracy.]

Voting is over now, thank you to everyone who contributed! It was a very close race between Hot Dog and Teddy. Every vote really counted right until the very end!

Ah... Well, I won't argue on those facts. In this case, however, we were voting on the title of "Mayor."

Mayors are basically representatives of the people within what's called a "city." They don't have any major authority, but they are there to guide the people of the city.

Yeah, I get it. There was a world I visited where it was ruled by a sultan. Not that I know much about it, just kind of knew him in passing as the parent of one of my friends. It's just the first time I've ever seen anyone else use the word before outside of that world.

I've never known anyone with a name like that before.

The palace, huh? I've never even been inside. Mostly just hung out in the city. It must have been nice living there. Yeah, we're friends. You're Carpet, right? I heard about you from Genie.

[Forget about hot dogs, he's super stoked. Somebody knows Agrabah, he's not alone here! Even if he's never met you before, Sora, he's excited and happy to see you. He may not know you, but you're already instantly accepted as a friend, just one that he needs to do some catching up with.]

Yeah, I met Genie near Agrabah and we saved Jasmine together. Afterwards he decided to travel with me and he liked to talk about you guys a lot.

[This timeline..... mostly makes sense to him. Genie had left immediately after Jafar had been defeated, so it wouldn't be too strange to meet him outside of Agrabah. When had he saved Jasmine, though? Shouldn't He and Aladdin have been around, too? Shouldn't she have mentioned something about it? Maybe she was just too embarrassed, or didn't want to worry Aladdin.....

[Everything he types is true, just maybe not in the right order. Though he did technically save Jasmine after meeting Genie. Twice. There is also so much he left out about his trip to Agrabah but he finds most of his friends think it strange that he knows them when they find out.

That'd be great! I've never been in a palace before. Well, there was a flying ship with pirates and he helped me defeat a dragon.
