They call it having shine--a way to do things most people can't. Is that what they call it for you?

we just call it abilities, where i'm from. they're manufactured, genetically programmed. normal people don't have it because their genetics are set for generations, but us, we're pretty much written up from scratch. or as close to it, anyway.

it means exactly that. genetic editing changes people, right? but it's something else for something to create itself. which is what they did with us. start with the basics and let the code learn on its own, see where it leads.

I don't get it. What's the point of doing that to people? It sounds like they were experimenting on you. Is that what made you sick that you need the meds?
