ITs mostly attracted to kids i think because kids are easier to scare and manipulate. We see dark shapes in the closet and think they're monsters, you know? Well not me...but I know kids who do. We're pretty sure its killed adults, or helped anyway. But in different ways. I think it feeds off the hate in adults. But I could be wrong- we never figured it out.
But like there was this club called the Black Spot and Mike's daddy was there when it got burned down to the ground by these freaks in white cloaks who hated the people who lived there. It was a really violent situation and it happened about when the time lines up. which seems to be about every 27-30 years?
