It's been a couple of weeks since I got here with the newest batch of arrivals. My name is Sora and this isn't my first time in a situation like this one. Actually, I've traveled to a whole bunch of other worlds - some on purpose and others on accident, more like this one. So while I might be new to this one, I can try to answer any questions you might have - though I won't claim to know everything or even that it's right, just that it's what I've seen happen in the past.

Anyway, I know that there's a clinic already set up here if you get sick or injured but if you ever need someone who can help, you can text me. Doesn't matter if it's day or night or if I have to come to you. I've got healing magic and learned a lot of non-magical ways of fixing a person up. And if anyone wants to learn, I'd be happy to teach you.

Oh yeah there's one more thing. You might see some colorful creatures around with a weird symbol on them - those are just my summons. They're called Dream Eaters but they only eat the bad ones. Please don't hurt them. All of them know to be quiet but if you ever need help with something, they have different abilities. Some of them can heal and all of them can fight or alert me if anyone ever needs help. Or you can just play with them. They love being petted.

Here's what one of them looks like. [And here is where he adds on a short silent video of a Meow Wow.] Her name is Xi and she's about the size of a medium dog. The rest of them are all different and maybe don't look as friendly like the Tyranto Rex but they won't hurt anyone. I promise.

[Sora is not easy to miss with his colorful cat-dog Dream Eater at his side. Or with the large red dino lumbering along behind him. It definitely looks like a smaller version of a T-Rex, not capable of actually eating a whole person in a single swallow.

When he catches sight of someone at the fountain, Sora raises his hand in a silent greeting.]

Hey, you're the one that wanted to see Leon, right?

[ The Meow Wow is definitely cute, but it's the dino that's captured Mike's heart. He nods gleefully at Sora's message. ]

I'm Mike. Nice to meet you guys. [ He gives the three of them a wave and starts with petting the friendlier looking dream eater, crouching down to stroke it. ]

[The cat-dog is extremely excited, tail wagging so fast that the whole backside moves with it.]

Nice to meet you, Mike. [He points a thumb at Rex, grinning.] Want to take a ride? He's friendlier than he looks.

[ This is truly a jaw-dropping moment for Mike. ]

SERIOUSLY? I can actually ride him?? He won't mind???

[A silent laugh.]

Yeah, of course you can! He doesn't mind. I do it all the time.

[ You're so lucky, Sora.

With his permission, Mike will climb aboard then. He's adding this to his list of Coolest Things He's Ever Done Here, which include a flight with Supergirl and riding a magic carpet. This is definitely in his top three of awesome modes of transportation. ]

[As soon as Mike is settled in, he pats Leon's flank to signal the dino to get moving silently.

And off he goes - trotting at a speed to ensure the ride is fun but not too fast that his large feet will make sound in the sand. Leon will take Mike all around the housing area in a large loop before eventually coming back to the fountain where he slows to a stop.]

Pretty fun, right?

[ Mike is riding a dinosaur. This is his life now. Why didn't he invite Will with him with a camera?!

Mike returns to Sora positively giddy. He's too excited to type, so hopefully Sora will understand him signing, that was so cool! Thank you so much! ]

[They're always welcome to do it another time. Or he can invite Will out now. Honestly, it does Sora's heart good to see kids smiling like this.

He's only learned a few words in the native's language but what he doesn't understand is translated on his 'berry.]

You're welcome. I wish I had some of the other dino Dream Eaters. Then we could have had dino races or something.

[ You shouldn't have said that, Sora, now he's disappointed that isn't possible. ]

Are there more animals?

[Yeah, didn't think of that. It's a shame he can't make them right now. But Mike can always ride around on Leon.]

Sure, I've got a panda, an elephant, rabbits, a pegasus and unicorn, birds, frogs, a rhino, fish, giraffe, a deer and a dragon.
