Has anyone seen an 18 year old girl with red hair and a distant expression? For those familiar, I am talking about Tuan Kirie. I haven't been able to contact her for a while now.

I know she regenerates after death, we experienced it together. And she would not attempt to leave the city without me.

On a related note, is anybody else missing people or potentially has any idea where they might have run off to? My house also seems to be down one housemate.

Is this place possibly operating on a balance? New arrivals mean the disappearance of older residents?

She hasn't been back to the house in days. I haven't seen her while out patrolling and guarding either.

I don't know how the whole arriving thing works or if people get to leave or get ejected.

I didn't know her well but she didn't really act different than when we first met. No signs that something was wrong beyond being stuck in this place.

I'm failing to draw any conclusions here other than that there is something else those natives aren't telling us.

Not for more than a few days. We arrived here a month ago and usually, the only way our numbers dwindle is if someone gets killed, which fixes itself in the end.

There have apparently been people who left the city towards uncertain fates - that is, the natives say so.

There might also be some who don't regenerate after death, but it's never happened in the time this group has been here.

Yes. There have been no arrivals between the first group and the second group, so the disappearance timing aligning too... it seems too rhythmical.
