UN: purrusu | day 6 POLL RESULTS
[ It's very similar to last time, in that the "mass text" has a header and is from the person with the username "purrusu" and is... regarding one (1) magical carpet. ]
After going through the nearly 200 messages, I managed to tally the names. The ones in the lead were:
3 for Fuwa-chan
3 for Poly/Polly Esther
I have to admit, Floora and David Tasselhoff are my personal favorite puns at this point, but I'm leaving the final decision to the one in question.
And so the moment of truth has arrived!

It's kind of like when something is super soft...? I like it since it matches them both physically and personality-wise.

So plastic is like..... frozen oil. Frozen oil that's spun and woven into a cloth that he can barely even begin to imagine, called Polly Esther. What does it look like? What does it feel like? How soft is it? is it fluffy or sleek? Thick or sheer? Stiff or flowing? Is it matte or shiny? What color is it, before it's dyed?
(He imagines something thick, heavy, and slippery, a sturdy cloth that would be suffocating to wear out in the Agrabah sun, yet weather-resistant enough to be used for tents and bedrolls, one that shimmers with opalescent black rainbows wherever the light strikes it.)]
Wouldn't people get confused if I'm made out of something different? What's idk?
[Sorry Jan, he may be a little too earnest and straightforward (not to mention archaic) to fully appreciate pun names and synthetic fabrics. The only reason he even types so nicely is because, like anyone who's using what amounts to a second language, he's incredibly conscientious about the importance of being understood; he doesn't know anything about slang or acronyms.]

aw geeze im sorry
"idk" is short for "i don't know"!
i dont think anyone would care cuz its a pun, but its up to you

[Jan is just trying to help, after all. And he does appreciate it! Even if his experiences are so overwhelmingly different from hers that he struggles to comprehend some of this. He supposes it's probably a good pun, for people who are used to Polly Esther cloth..... ]But it seems a little silly to be named after something he's not made out of and has never seen before. Less confusing, probably.
I guess I'll be Fuwa-chan then! But if anybody wants to call me Polly Esther instead I don't mind!
[Nicknames are cute and make him happy too, after all~ ♥ He's just touched beyond words that people care so much that they want to name him at all.]
