Hey. Mike here.

Just wanted to let housemates and others know Will and I got one of the private houses with land. It's the house with the Castle Wheeler-Byers sign. You're all welcome to visit if you're not a mouthbreather.

And fight club is always open to members. I know the rule is not to talk about it [ or so he’s been told - the movie doesn't exist yet from the time he's from ] but that's kinda impossible when you want more people to join. So if you're interested, let me or Hotdog know, okay?

Also, I know Eddie said the natives told him monsters from home could come here, so I wanted to ask everyone who has monsters from home to talk about them here. Then maybe I could put together a monster manual and make it available to everyone? Just in case more monsters start popping up so we all know what to look out for. I put together a form. If you can't answer everything that's fine. Maybe we can even compare notes to help us fight the sound eaters?

He is ruthless and is willing to have anyone killed who stands in his way. There is nothing he isn't willing to do to get rid of someone he sees as a threat, yet is charismatic enough to win people over.

He's destroyed and ended countless lives.

I have fought and defeated him before.


Monster name: Masayoshi Shido
Appearance: Male in his 40s. He's tall, has a goatee, and he's bald. He wears fancy suits and a pair of glasses that are tinted. He speaks as though he'll guide people, and that he's the only one who can do it.

In another form, he wears a spiky helmet and a military general uniform, complete with white gloves and a red cape. The third form is half naked with lots of muscles. The fourth is the same as the third, only the skin is bright red.
Strengths/abilities: In his human form, his only strength is what I said above. He will try to win someone over to protect him and murder for him.

He is capable of controlling fire, ice, wind, nuclear, bless, dark, psy, and electrical magic. He can cast a status ailment called Fear, which amplifies that feeling, making it next to impossible to move or defend yourself.

Aside from that, he's very powerful, physically. He has a few powers that hit multiple people at once.
Drawn by: He likes anyone who will fall for his false charm, and do anything he tells them to.
Weakness: He's a typical male human in his main, real world, form, but if any of his other forms arrive here, punching him or repeatedly shooting him works.
How to kill the shit out of it: Use his weaknesses against him if it's not his human form. You need high agility to dodge his attacks, great shields, and healing abilities. Most importantly, however, you would need something to protect you from the Fear ailment, or something to recover you from it.

Otherwise, the human form can just be locked away in that prison we're building.

Not cool. Does that mean you had no school until they fixed it back up again? [ Mike doesn't mind one day skipping school but any more than that he'd hate - he's actually one of those kids who loves learning, especially from Mr. Clarke, despite the bullies. ]

Hopefully we only have the sound eaters to deal with and none of these others monsters show up... but I'm gonna put all this information together anyway for everyone to be able to look at. Just in case.

The topic of Masayoshi Shido is a damn complicated mess of one for Goro Akechi.

And his lips draw together tightly as he sees the text that pops up just beneath his. A private response intended only for him. The smile he sees when he looks up has him staring for a moment. There are so many different kinds of smiles he's had directed at him by this guy.

Akira's lips part for a moment. His tongue flicks out to dampen them a tiny bit, as his brow knits in a surge of complicated feelings. Then, he holds a blink for a couple of seconds before firmly staring at that message.

Okay... time to just say it; they're in an almost entirely soundproofed room, after all. ]

They somehow took my ability to summon mine but I could always make some. In my world there's a game called Struggle where they fight with foam-covered swords that would be great for this world. They wouldn't make as much noise as two wooden ones banging together. I could make them and teach anyone who wants to learn.

[There's a steady moment in which Akechi looks at Kurusu.

A fragile thread of trust was slowly beginning to be fostered between them, after all this time. After all the pain and heartache and tears... maybe now, finally, things were actually starting to mend.

So he certainly hopes that right when things were starting to get better, Kurusu wasn't trying to win him over with half-truths. He certainly hopes that he means exactly what he says, no strings attached.

But how curious that a person who is usually so open about things would not notify him that he'd put up a posting for the person who'd ruined his life.

Maybe before, he would have brought up how Kurusu had lied to him before. He would have held it over his head, and demanded to know why he should trust him now?

...but even if he is being deceived... his heart isn't quite in it...

There's a slight sad quality to his eye, a slight weakening of his smile before he simply looks back down to his device. He can't bring himself to dispute it... but can't bring himself to believe Kurusu, either.

A fragile thread, ever straining, capable of snapping at any moment. And yet Akechi clings.
