Hey. Mike here.

Just wanted to let housemates and others know Will and I got one of the private houses with land. It's the house with the Castle Wheeler-Byers sign. You're all welcome to visit if you're not a mouthbreather.

And fight club is always open to members. I know the rule is not to talk about it [ or so he’s been told - the movie doesn't exist yet from the time he's from ] but that's kinda impossible when you want more people to join. So if you're interested, let me or Hotdog know, okay?

Also, I know Eddie said the natives told him monsters from home could come here, so I wanted to ask everyone who has monsters from home to talk about them here. Then maybe I could put together a monster manual and make it available to everyone? Just in case more monsters start popping up so we all know what to look out for. I put together a form. If you can't answer everything that's fine. Maybe we can even compare notes to help us fight the sound eaters?

Well, for one, if he dies it's very likely he won't be gone. But I fully agree with you. It just wouldn't be considerate of me to break a toy so generously handed to me as soon as I get it.

Maybe you need a worry jar? Like a swear jar, but you put candy in instead of money whenever you worry... Then you give the candy to me. :)

Or you write your worries and put them in the jar. Then you look at them later and see nothing bad happened since the thing you worried about so you rip it up and throw it away. Then your jar gets more and more empty.

[ frank had never cared much what other people thought. except for his kids and his wife, and then somehow micro and his family. but now upon coming here, he finds he wants mikes approval. he wants to be the kind of figure who supports him in lieu of his actual parents. so it means a lot to him that mike appreciates what he's doing here. ]

all any of us can do is our best. that's all i've ever tried to do. if you're a good guy, bad people will look for a way to manipulate you. if you can find a way to look out for them without becoming cranky and paranoid like me, well then you're a step ahead of the curve.

He doesn't regret saying it. What good is letting all that fucking anger and spite just sit there. Emotions aren't like some fine wine - not these kind, by any stretch of the imagination. Yet, Akira has let Akechi storm off in a fit of rage, most times, and things only get better on the surface area after that. Yes, he does sit there. Yes, he does listen. Yes, he does acknowledge that there is a lot of truth in those words.

But... does he let Akechi walk away this time? Nope. They're going to sort some of this out, now that the bottle has been uncorked.

So, similar to a time before, he's moving to block the doorway. His jawline is set, some part of him bracing for physical retaliation. Especially since he's making it clear with body language alone, that he's not going to be moving aside any time soon. But... his voice is calm and much quieter than Akechi's. ]
